Our clients – individuals, family offices, companies, charities and universities – have one thing in common – they want to be change makers. Whether it’s through a sense of duty, corporate responsibility or personal passion, they either have the resource, expertise or influence to make a difference but often one of these elements is missing which prevents them from making progress, or perhaps it’s just a lack of spare time. This is where we come in. We join the dots, we make connections, we help to raise funding or to direct funding and importantly, we create a plan and structure that elevates and realises the long lasting and meaningful impact they wish to bring about.
We are a small, specialist team and our networks are built on trust. Our relationships with clients tend to be deeply personal and often last for many years.
I have been in the fundraising and philanthropy world for over 25 years, from working as a respite carer throughout university to leading the fundraising from start to finish to successfully reach the campaign target of £300M to build the Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC) which opened in 2018 – undoubtedly a highlight in my career. As such, it was extremely important to me that the thread of doing good runs through every project we take on, hence the company name, which is derived from the Cicero quote:
Let the welfare of the people be the unlimited law.
Out of work, Holly sits on the British Library’s Development Advisory Board and is an ‘independent visitor’ acting as a long-term ally for a young person in foster care. She is a lover of the arts, particularly music, enjoys keeping active and can often be found kayaking on the Thames.

Holly Butcher is not a ‘fundraiser’, she is a visionary changemaker. She has a gift in combining laser sharp focus on detail with an expansive and strategic view of the bigger picture.
She builds the bridges that bring purpose to fruition. She engages on a deeply committed and personal level, because she understands that change comes from a profoundly personal commitment by a group of dedicated individuals in purposeful partnership. She then brings the resource to realise that change.
Former BAFTA-Winning Film Maker, Educational and Human Rights Activist (UN Women For Peace Award 2020), Founder & President of Global Charity Think Equal
Holly and I have worked together on a number of major programs in the last few years. She is an astute and thoughtful professional and a highly effective leader in her field.
Holly and her team are a delight to work with. They are proactive, energetic and engaging. Importantly they are both discrete and sensitive and truly understand the dynamics required to match philanthropic capital with organizations making a difference. Ultimately they are reliable and just get stuff done.
